‘Tis the season. What season? Pumpkin Spice everything! For this installment of #Saturyay, however, we are going to focus on another fall staple: apple cider.<\/p>\n

One great thing about apple cider? Aside from the taste, you can easily alter a cocktail recipe containing this key ingredient into a mocktail for little ones. That way, everyone get a little specialty drink to enjoy!<\/p>\n

Since apple cider in itself bring about “all the feels” for fall, you don’t need to do too much to a cider based cocktail to present it at a fall party or enjoy it by a roaring bonfire. One of our favorite recipes? Apple cider bourbon.<\/p>\n

Truth be told, we actually aren’t too fond of bourbon, but this recipe has just enough sweetness in it due to the cider that bourbon and non-bourbon drinkers alike can delight in it’s flavors.<\/p>\n

2 ounces of apple cider (Pro tip: Try to stay away from apple juice or spiced apple cider as it will result in a different flavor<\/em>)<\/p>\n

2 ounces of bourbon<\/p>\n

1\/2 teaspoon of brown sugar<\/p>\n

Pinch of angostura bitters<\/p>\n

Ice<\/p>\n

Half a lemon wedge (for rim)<\/p>\n
