Get in the “Spirit” this Christmas Eve

T’was the night before Christmas, and you know the rest.

What kind of adult beverages were our family members enjoying? Nothing but the best!

Peppermint hot cocoa for the win!

Hot cocoa

1 C Whole milk

1.5 Oz of Bailey’s

1/2 Shot of Peppermint Schnapps

1 Tbsp cocoa powder

1 Tbsp sugar

Pinch of salt

4 Andes Mints


1 Candy cane

In a small saucepan, over medium heat, stir and heat milk until it becomes close to boiling. Stir in sugar, salt and cocoa powder fully. Stir in Bailey’s and Peppermint Schnapps.

Carefully remove saucepan from heat and pour mixture into festive mug. Crush up Andes Mints. Top off beverage with desired amount of marshmallows and crushed Andes Mints. Finish the garnish with one candy cane per photo. Cheers!

A New Way to Enjoy Red Wine

2/3 C Dry red wine (Recommended: Merlot or Shiraz)

2/3 C Semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 C Milk

1/2 C Half and half

1/2 Tsp. Vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, half and half and milk. Stir continuously until the mixture is both hot and the chocolate chips have melted.

Carefully remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.

Pour into a decorative Christmas mugĀ and enjoy!
